Texas Pregnancy Care Network Awarded Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency
Texas Pregnancy Care Network has earned Candid’s 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency.
Candid provides donors with detailed information to identify trusted non-profit organizations, and fewer than 1% of the nearly 2 million registered receive a Platinum Seal.
This designation represents the highest level of transparency, including comprehensive details on finances, Board of Directors, staff, and demographics, and serves as a symbol of non-profit transparency and accountability.
For more information, please visit Candid’s website. TPCN is the prime contractor of the Thriving Texas Families Program. TPCN is a separate 501(c)3 from any subcontractor, and TPCN’s Candid Seal is conferred specifically to TPCN’s 501(c)3.
Helping Texas Families Thrive
Service Provider Locations Across Texas
As a contractor in the Texas Health and Human Safety Commission’s Thriving Texas Families Program, TPCN manages a statewide network of pregnancy support centers, maternity residences, social service agencies, and adoption agencies providing comprehensive, life-affirming support to women facing unplanned pregnancies. These subcontracted providers are staffed with caring professionals, trained counselors, and mentors who serve Texas families daily.
TPCN’s contractor/subcontractor model meets the needs of community-based service providers while maximizing resources, enabling free, compassionate, practical, and life-affirming services for pregnant women and their families across Texas
Reaching Texans in Crisis, The People We Serve
TPCN clients come from across Texas and all walks of life, but many share the same reality: an unexpected pregnancy with limited support and financial insecurity. Many are young, low-income, unmarried, or already parenting while facing housing instability, job uncertainty, or strained family relationships, often making decisions under intense pressure or while feeling isolated.
How We Help Families
TPCN connects clients to immediate, practical support through a statewide network of trusted, community-based service providers. Services include confidential counseling and mentoring, pregnancy and parenting education, material assistance such as diapers, formula, and cribs, temporary shelter, help with education & employment training, and referrals to medical and social services. Support continues through the first 36 months after birth, ensuring families are not left on their own once the initial crisis has passed.
Clients who receive consistent support are more likely to carry the pregnancy to term and build stability. TPCN’s model reflects a simple truth: people that choose life when supported, resourced, and treated with dignity, turning crisis into confidence.
The Network Effect
When a service provider joins the TPCN network, it gains more than funding and administrative support, including access to shared knowledge, experience, and logistical support. TPCN providers regularly coordinate to expand services, scale operations, and grow resources for Texas families.
